Tips for Finding Free Resumes Online

I have been looking forward to sharing this fantastic resource with you!  Take it from me, I’ve done my share of the dreaded time-consuming candidate pool search and have decided it’s time to take the bull by the horns so-to-speak.  I am certain these tips will help you find the best candidate for the job.

The Internet is an excellent resource for recruiters, yet finding resumes online can to put quite a dent in the ol’ pocket book. There is good news! The secret to easing the pain of watching the bank account drain is finding the many free Resume Databases online that will deliver hundreds of free candidates right to your doorstep. Or try this great tip… You can also use Free College and Alumni resumes found on University websites, or Free Resume Blaster sites. And even better, they come looking for you by bringing you resumes after you sign up and allowing you specify the types of resumes that fit your specific needs.

Everyone knows the top search engine is www.google.com unless you have been hiding under a rock this last decade, but why not also try www.yahoo.com and double your efforts. Once you choose one of the above search engines try typing in keywords like “free resume database”, “free resume search”, and “free resume”. Or why not try being more specific with your keywords when you are targeting a particular background. In this case, you might try “free resume” and “Controller”, if you are searching for a Controller. It’s that easy!

I also recommend: http://www.theladders.com, and http://www.therecruiternetwork.com. These are free for searching and I have found some excellent candidates quick and painless.

The Internet has changed the executive search toolkit, thank goodness! Remember the old days when we had to place ads in the newspaper? Well, not anymore.
