Description
The 106 Group is seeking a Proposal Coordinator in our St. Paul office. The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the proposal process, including searches, coordination, production, quality assurance, and submission of the completed response. This position is part-time, however it could be a full-time position if the applicant has skills that can be applied in other areas of the company.

See www.106group.com for more information about our firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing proposals and managing the proposal process in a professional consulting environment. Minimum qualifications include B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, English, or closely related field, and at least two years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities
Oversee all proposal procedures, conduct opportunity searches, maintain and update marketing materials, and track all proposals.
Work with an interdisciplinary team, delegate tasks as needed, ensure an appropriate level of effort for each proposal, and be comfortable communicating with clients.
Participate in additional projects as appropriate according to skill level, experience, and ability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written directions
Creative problem solver, critical thinker, and self-starter
Ability to engage experts at all levels of the organization to efficiently gather necessary information
Excellent writing and copy editing skills
Experience writing for a variety of audiences
Basic command of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
High proficiency with Microsoft Word formatting
Additional experience valued
Experience in defining scopes of work and estimating project costs
Experience in cultural resources management, historic preservation, environmental review, planning, and/or interpretation/exhibit design
