Description
ESA is a multidisciplinary planning and environmental consulting firm with an Airports Practice that specializes in bringing project solutions to aviation clients throughout the United States. With experience at more than 150 airports nationally, ESA provides integrated consulting services ranging from airport master planning, strategic planning, forecasting, project definition studies, airspace/operational analyses, as well as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, 14 CFR Part 150 noise studies, sustainability planning, wildlife hazard assessments/management plans, regulatory permitting, and mitigation strategy and implementation. ESA’s projects are some of the most complex and challenging in the aviation industry. ESA is seeking motivated, creative, and career-driven professionals with expertise in airport planning. All qualified skill levels are encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will have wide ranging experience in aviation planning with an understanding and knowledge of forecasting, airside/landside capacity, airfield geometry/layout, airspace analyses, alternatives analyses, Airport Layout Plans, airport zoning, land use compatibility planning, and capital improvement programs for both general aviation and commercial service airports. Flight training, AutoCAD/GIS skills, and experience with airport environmental studies are a plus. Those interested in upping their game and taking on new challenges are encouraged to apply.

Skills
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in an aviation-related discipline or applicable on-the-job experience in the aviation industry; have strong technical writing skills; be capable of quickly grasping new skills in a dynamic working environment; and possess excellent oral communication and presentation skills. Candidates must also be capable of passing a 10-year background check associated with airport security badge screening. Positions located in Tampa or Orlando, FL.
