We are looking for someone passionate about youth research and development that has the unique ability to bridge the research to youth-serving organizations and partners through program development and delivery as well as project design and implementation. This individual will provide project leadership for successful execution of large research and development projects, particularly the Relationships for Outcomes Initiative (ROI) project. The ROI project is a major initiative to partner with organizations to integrate a focus on developmental relationships into their work with youth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who is highly-organized, detail-oriented, and able to successfully balance demanding deliverables and timelines while navigating relationships with multiple national partners; an excellent communicator who is comfortable and successful leading and facilitating groups; highly motivated and mission driven.

1. Project Leadership – Provide overall project leadership for successful execution of large R&D projects, mainly the Relationships for Outcomes Initiative (ROI) project
• Build and lead the project team with internal staff, partners, and independent contractors to meet project objectives and deliverables within timelines and budgets.
• Oversee all aspects of the project including implementation, activities, deliverables, compliance, budgets, and reporting
• Provide oversight to and coordination of project goals and activities, including partner engagement, tool development, data collection, field-building research and dissemination, convenings, and other activities.
• Ensure quality control throughout the project planning, execution, and dissemination process.
• Provide program content expertise, which may include delivering presentations and communicating the project’s purpose and value.
• Facilitate communications among all stakeholders
• Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project effectiveness.
• Identify, gather, and engage resources needed to complete successful projects on time and within budget.

2. Partner Engagement - Lead and facilitate partner engagement teams focused on youth development.
• Provide subject matter expertise, consultation, coaching, and training to project partners focused on youth development, mentoring, and family engagement.
• Facilitate data-guided improvement strategies for partner organizations focused on youth development.
• Develop and manage an ongoing learning exchange with and between clients, partners and staff, documenting what works and adaptations to improve the products and service offerings.
• Develop and deliver workshops and presentations.
• Other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in the social or behavioral sciences. Masters preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience successfully leading and managing large projects
• Minimum 7 years working in out-of-school time programs, youth development, mentoring and/or family engagement in applied settings
• Training and experience in qualitative or quantitative research methods
• Non-profit experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
